October 4: One Done .................Millions to Go

Just kidding about the millions.  Probably won't live quite that long, but I can dream.  Finished the binding on this sweet little baby quilt today.  Dad stitched the bears and I pieced, quilted and bound it.  This is one that I would happily make again.  Love babies and bears so it is a no-brainer as to why.

Robin--really enjoy seeing your father in law's improved expertise in his machine embroidery hobby! This quilt is too cute... Wondering though, is a bear missing from one of those blocks--next to the guy with stars? Or did you put it together inside out? This from someone who bought a new sewing machine last weekend, took it from the box, placed it on the kitchen table and hasn't even figured out (time and enthusiasm constraints) how to make a bobbin or thread the dang thing.

Someone asked about the empty cloud block. I do not know why it is empty but I have seen the designs and there is one that is just a cloud. I like to think of it as a place for a child's guardian angel. You will have do your own creative thinking on this one.

SweetSue, use precaution when starting up your new machine. Quilting can be addicting and since there are a couple of quilters in the family, you might be genetically pre-disposed.

Who is getting the lovely bear and quilt and wall hanging? :-) Is it going to Grandpa's sale? Do you know his price? Fergie is due in February.....
