September 2: Mostly Photos

Today I asked Kevin to drive down the road we walked yesterday so I could share a could of photos.  Hoped to catch the chickens out, but....

Friday there is a farmers' market in a small town just down the road.  There was even a three piece band playing some lively tunes. We bought potatoes, tomatoes, cucumbers and apples.  Had some of the potatoes and apples for dinner.  Delicious!

On our way home we stopped at the local market.  It is a small town grocery that carries a pretty good variety of foods and also makes a great pannini sandwich.

On the sewing front, I made the curtain for the front door.  Decided to go white with a small beige floral print since the steps are brown, black, and white. The walls really are white and look pretty good after all our scrubbing.  not certain why they look yellowish here. I also shortened our bedroom drapes but may not have gotten them short enough yet.

Exercise wise, I did a great deal of wall washing and laundry.  We hung up several hooks and carted more stuff out to store in the trailer.  We are both rather exhausted after this long week of cleaning and learning to play school again, so we are going to watch a Netflix movie after Kevin gets the Wii set up.  Tomorrow we wiill walk again and Kevin said we will be doing ab work as well.  Oh, Boy!!!

Enjoying your posts! Looks like beautiful country and sounds like a neat place to spend a year. Can't figure out how to do the URL or whatever, so I shall remain anonymous. ~Wendy

Just go to the "Select Profile" and choose name/url. Insert your name. That is all you need. It will look like you have a () after your name, but that is no issue. That is what I did to write this comment. Then click on post comment. You will probably see some flickering but then there will be a a new block that asks you to type a code. Once you do that, I will be able to read your comment and know it is you and not some anonymous person.
