August 16:Embroidery Machine, More Football, Baseball and the Youth Pavillion

First for the sewing, etc.  Jamie is now an embroidery machine master, or at least she knows where the manuals are and what my cell phone number.

Once more Zoe and Henry went to the sitter's for the morning.  We ran a few errands and then picked them up and had fish sticks, chicken nuggets, tater tots, and a salad for me.  Henry is a chow hound.

Zoe, Henry, Jamie, Grandpa and I went to the Youth Pavilion and explored all the cool stations and had a wonderful time.  This next photo says it all.

Kevin had a real treat tonight.  Jamie made jambalaya with shrimp and polish sausage.  (Between Jamie and Aleah, Kevin has really eaten well this week.)  The kids had macaroni and cheese. The best part for me was that Henry, who is 22 months old , has decided he no longer needs to sit in his booster chair at the table.  He ate lots of dinner but then he started doing laps around the table.  We were laughing and talking about it instead of stopping it.  Wonder how they will corral him now!!

Zoe strutted her stuff on the t-ball field.  She hit the ball each time up and made it around the bases (not as home runs, but as a respectable runner) without being tagged.  While she played Henry also played but he played in the DIRT and hugged a pole hoping to play "ring around the rosy" with his mom. That is dirt not bruising on his face.  He had as much fun as Zoe!
